Our office staff will be at the airport to meet you with the placard Hike Holiday Treks. He will take you to the hotel in a private vehicle. We will explain a brief orientation at the hotel to describe about trekking route. There are no more scheduled activities. You can rest for the day.
After driving to Birenthanti, the Annapurna Sunrise Trek begins through the villages of Lumle and Nayapul. Here you will begin your genuine hiking journey, passing through lovely forests, waterfalls, and swimming holes.
You will arrive in Tikhedhunga after passing through Ramghai’s fields and ascending the valley. At the end of the day, you’ll trek across a suspension bridge and up 3,300 steep stone steps to Ulleri.
The walking trail to Ghorepani begins in Ulleri.A stone stairway cut from the soil with over 300 steps is well-known in the village. The trekking path then passes through the settlement of Banthanti, from which there are spectacular views of the Annapurna Mountains. The trekking trail is lined with rhododendron trees and azalea blossoms, allowing for a pleasant walk through the scenery. Pine and oak trees add to the landscape’s verdancy and vibrancy. The trekking trail finally arrives to Ghorepani.
This is the highlight day of the trek. You will wake up early in the morning and walk to Poon Hill, which offers panoramic views of the entire Annapurna Mountain massif. The morning view from Poon Hill is amazing! Poon Hill offers views of peaks such as Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, Nilgiri, and more. After spending amazing minutes at the vantage point admiring the mountain beauty, we will trek to Tadapani, which will take approximately five hours.
Today, we continue down the same trail, which becomes steeper as we descend toward Jhinu Dand, come across a sheep farm and admire the rich forest of oak, rhododendron, and bamboo, as well as the picturesque village lifestyle. You have reached Jhinu Danda. It is famous for its naturalhot spring, where you can relax and enjoy the therapeutic warmth of natural hot springs after a long trek.
As the end of the trek gets closer, with unforgettable memories and experiences, we head toward Pokhara by crossing suspension along the Modi River. By 3-hour drive, we reach Pokhara and night there.
Today marks the end of your journey as you take a tourist bus from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Along the way, you will witness breathtaking natural scenery. Once you reach Kathmandu, rest for a while in the hotel and head to the city’s core area to buy souvenirs and have dinner. Finally, you can end your day by resting in the hotel.
In the evening, you’ll join the farewell dinner hosted by Hike Holiday Treks, where you’ll receive your achievement certificate in recognition of your trekking journey
Approximately three hours before your scheduled flight, one of Hike Holiday Treks’ staff will drop you off at the airport, where you will leave with many unforgettable memories.
Lately, there has been extensive road construction (KATHMANDU TO POKHARA )on Prithvi Highway, causing traffic congestion and air pollution. The journey that used to take around 6-7 hours now takes roughly 8-9 hours. We appreciate your patience.
