October to November is the autumn season in Nepal. During this time, the sky is clear, and days are warm. Thousands of trekkers opt for trekking in Nepal during this time of the year due to favourable weather.
In the same way, the spring season, which falls from March to April, is another peak season for trekking in Nepal. The weather is warm as it invites the summer season simultaneously. In this season, flowers fully bloom, and trails are green. In general, it offers spectacular weather to view the mountains.

The first choice is Mardi Himal Trek, is a 9-days magnificent excursion which allows the best scenery of Mount Fishtail. The hike allows you to explore the valley in a more relaxed and thorough manner. A beginner trekkers and a guest having limited time can do this trek. This is the easy and short treks.
Second, we have Annapurna Panorama Trek, is a 8-days journey will take you to insight the best views of Mount Dhaulagiri, Mt. Fishtail, Mt. Annapurna and many more . It is a short and easy treks from where you can see the best excursion of Annapurna region. This is a family friendly treks with all the age group people.
Third one is the Annapurna Short Trek which takes 5 days to complete this trek from where you can see the mesmerising views of views of the Annapurna range, including iconic peaks like Annapurna, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and Dhaulagiri. This trek s one of the short retreats in the Annapurna that offers stunning vistas of the Annapurna massif. This rewarding journey entails breathtaking landscapes, charming villages.
One of Hike Holiday Trek’s representatives will be there to welcome you and help you get transferred to your hotel. You will also be given more information about plans and programs further after you arrive in the hotel. As you do not have any other planned activities for the day, you may just relax at the hotel for the remainder of time and prepare for the trek.
After breakfast, you shall be driven to Pokhara, the second largest city of Nepal. The drive will present you with the opportunity to see the wonderful landscape of terraced farmlands- green and wet with the sowing of rice and barley by the farmers, the frisky rush of the meandering rivers by the highway and the isolated valleys low-lying among the gargantuan hills and rocky gorges. The journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara takes about 6 hours, and upon arrival at Pokhara, we shall check into a hotel, which the city has an abundance of. In the evening, you shall be able to enjoy the respite of a beautiful boat-ride at Fewa Lake and on a clear day, you can see the lucid reflection of Mount Machhapuchhre and the Annapurna Range on the crystalline surface of water.
The following morning after breakfast in Pokhara, we drive to Nayapul, and drive off-road to Syauli Bazar and then to Kimche.From Kimche, we start trekking to the beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk. Ghandruk is renowned for Buddhist monasteries and houses made of slates and stones. This day’s trek is short, and we will be spending the night at Ghandruk.
We leave the terraced hillsides and Ghandruk village behind and trek through rhododendron, primula, and oak forests to Bayeli Kharka via Tadapani. Before reaching Tadapani, you will not find any villages, but there are teahouses at Bhainsi Kharka.
We will continue trekking through the open countryside to reach a small pass. From this pass, the trail descends through rhododendron trees to a clearing known as Bayli Kharka- where we will be spending the night. From Bayli Kharka village, you can enjoy superb views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m), the seventh highest mountain in the world.
From Bayli Kharka, we descend through forests to reach Chistibang pastures and trek for around 2 hours- ascending above the timberlines to reach Khopra Danda. On the way, you might be able to get glimpses of Himalayan Tahr (goat) and Danfe (pheasant). If you look above the horizon, you will see amazing views of Dhaulagiri, Damphus Peak, Tukuche Peak, Nilgiri, Annapurna 1, Annapurna South, and deep down Sikha. The Khopra ridge also provides views of Kaligandaki Gorge – the deepest gorge in the world.
You will visit the sapphire Khayer Lake today, where views of the Fang Mountain and surrounding peaks are magnificent. It is a long walk up to Khayer Lake and often takes several hours going forth to the lake and returning back. You can also opt for a half day walk from Khopra as well, if you do not feel like making an arduous journey that takes more time.
It takes approximately an hour to descend back up to Upper Chistibung where you will stop for a drink and a short respite. Carrying further along, you will be going to the Swanta village today. Along the way, views of Mount Dhaulagiri provide a serene ambiance to the trekking trail and the Himalayan backdrop is brilliant to look at. The terraced farmlands and traditional houses give the landscape as a dainty picturesque sublimity. Once you arrive at the Swanta village, you can have a visit at the Swanta primary school as well if you want.Swanta village is known for its community cheese factory. You can explore Swanta village and taste their cheese.
This day we will leave the beautiful village of Swanta and head to Ghorepani – our destination for the day. At first, we will descend through the village fields and reach a small river that we will cross on a suspension bridge and head upwards to Chittre village, from where we will join the classic Annapurna Circuit trekking trail. We will be ascending for a while to reach the Ghorepani.
We ascend to Poon Hill (3,210m) early morning to view sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massifs – including Mt Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). Poon Hill is also a favorite spot for photographers looking to capture the best views of the Himalayas. We will not leave Poon Hill without clicking pictures to our heart’s content.
After catching sight of heavenly sunrise views on humongous mountains, and rice terraces, we will return to Ghorepani and trek to Birethanti. From Birethanti, we will catch a bus to return to Pokhara via Nayapul.
From Pokhara, you drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus, the journey filled with diverse landscapes.
In the evening you will enjoy the farewell dinner organised by Hike Holiday Treks.
A representative from Hike Holiday Treks shall drop you to the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight, from where you will depart.
