The spring season, which falls from March to April, is another peak season for trekking in Nepal. The weather is warm as it invites the summer season simultaneously. In this season, flowers fully bloom, and trails are green. In general, it offers spectacular weather to view the mountains.
Then, September to November is the autumn season in Nepal. During this time, the sky is clear, and days are warm. Thousands of trekkers are coming for trekking in Nepal during this time of the year due to favourable weather.
Absolutely, beginners or first-time hikers can join this Annapurna Base Camp Trek for 9 days without a doubt. However, it is very crucial to keep in mind that the beginners must be in the best shape and healthy both physically and mentally. This trek is designed for everyone who is experienced, novices, or families, but the one condition that must be fulfilled by them is that they must be in great health.
Beginners must train their bodies by participating in different exercises to get in shape and become ready to embark on this moderate-level journey. If you want to travel Annapurna Base Camp Trek for 9 days, then you must get two permits after arriving in Nepal, namely the Trekkers Information Management System (TIMS) Card and the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP). Without these permits, you cannot continue your trek forward even though you are traveling solo or in a in a group without a guide.
ACAP will cost you around 30 dollars. But if you are from SAARC countries, you only have to pay 10 dollars. For the TIMS card, it will cost you around 20 dollars, and for SAARC nations, it will cost 5 dollars.
We will pick you up and drop you off during your arrival and departure for the Annapurna Base Camp Trek for 9 days via our private vehicles. On the second day of this exciting journey, we will fly to Pokhara which takes 25 mintues .
Then, we will be taking a private vehicle from Pokhara to Kimche, where you will start your walk for experiencing nature and creating a lot of cheerful memories. On day 8, you will be transported back to Kathmandu city from Pokhara by Tourist Bus.
If you want to get ready for this Annapurna Base Camp Trek for 14 days excursion, it’s very obligatory to follow a good exercise routine for necessary and enough preparation before embarking on the journey. You can focus on cardio workouts such as squats, pullups, pushups, jacks, etc. to increase your stamina.
You can practice trekking with a small amount of weight in a backpack in nearby locations that have a need to ascend. To prepare fully, don’t forget to pack all the necessary stuff, like trekking boots, clothing, gear, and others that will help you smooth hiking.

Today after having breakfast , we start our journey to Pokhara by taking short seneric flight from Kathmandu which takes 25 mintues to reach. With a beautiful views we landed to pokhara and our journey starts to Kimche by driving for 2 hours and heading towards to Ghandruk which takes one hour to reach a beauitful Gurung village.
Today our treks begin Ghandruk and heading towards Sinuwa . We will climb to Kimrung Danda, descend to the Kimrung River, climb again to Doorbin Danda, and continue to Chhomrong. After lunch, we will continue to Sinuwa.
Today, after having a breakfast we will leave Sinuwa and begin our trek to Khuldighar, which will take around two and a half hours to walk. The trail descends sharply down the rocky bank before levelling down. We’ll pass past the bamboo thicket at the bottom of the gorge. Walking through the bamboo forest will also be an enjoyable experience. We continue the path through Dovan and Pujinim Barah, passing a waterfall created by the same river.
Today is the day you will reach your awaited destination as you walk through the riverbed to reach Annapurna Sanctuary. As you walk closer to the Annapurna glacier, passing through Modi Khola, you will arrive at Machhapuchhre base camp, where you can have a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. After soaking yourself in this fantastic view, you will ascend for two more hours to reach Annapurna base camp.
From there, you can have a 360° view of Annapurna Massif (Annapurna I-IV), Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, Pisang Peak, Paungda Danda, and numerous other peaks ranging from 6000 to 8000m in elevation. You will enjoy gazing at all these beautiful snow-capped mountains and end your day at the base camp.
You said goodbye to the Annapurna base camp with fond memories. As you leave your footprint, you begin your walk by dropping down the Modi Khola riverbed trail to escape the Annapurna Sanctuary. Our destination for the day will be bamboo with a tranquil and calm ambiance, we will appreciate the surroundings.
Today, we ascend down following the same path which gets steeper as we drop down toward Chhomrong via Khuldighar. We come across a sheep farm and enjoy the lush forest of oak rhododendrons and bamboo and the eye-catching village lifestyle. You reach Jhinu Danda where we catch a jeep to return back to Pokhara which takes 2.5 hours to reach Pokhara.
Today we are heading to Kathmandu by Tourist Bus saying a goodbye to the mounatin and beautiful city Pokhara. Along the way, you will witness breathtaking natural scenery. Once you reach Kathmandu, rest for a while and explore the tourist hun Thamel for shopping .
In the evening you will join the farewell dinner hosted by Hike Holiday Treks with receiving the achievement certificate in the success of your Trip.
Today marks the end of your journey as our representative. You will depart through Kathmandu airport. Hope you enjoy your trip.
