It is required to obtain travel insurance while booking or participating in any of Hike Holiday Treks’s excursions, trekking, or climbing packages.
Not being insured while travelling raises the risk of incurring additional fees in case of an accident or other unfavourable circumstances. Travelling to higher heights in the mountains carries some risk, even when accompanied by the best guides and services available from our travel agency. Travel insurance is required to cover the small percentage of possible accidents.
Travel insurance must cover the cost of helicopter flights and rescue services. Emergency air ambulance and medical expenses, particularly for altitude sickness, must be covered by the travel insurance policy. And we recommend that you get travel insurance of US$ 100000 on average.
